Welcome to Karevault Ltd.("Karevault", "we", "us", or "our"), an insurtech company duly registered and operating in Nigeria. These Terms and Conditions("Terms")govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and any other services we provide (collectively, the"Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations in Nigeria. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Karevault. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Services: Refers to the website, mobile applications, and any other products or services provided by Karevault.
User/You: Refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Services.
Karevault/We/Us/Our: Refers to Karevault Ltd., an insurtech company operating in Nigeria.
Insurance Products: Refers to the various insurance policies and related services offered by Karevault.
NAICOM: Refers to the National Insurance Commission, the primary regulatory body for the insurance industry in Nigeria.
Personal Data: As defined in our Privacy Policy, and in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019 (NDPR).
To access and use certain features of our Services, you may be required to register for an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. All information you provide during registration is accurate, complete, and truthful. All insurance products offered through our Services are underwritten by licensed insurance companies regulated by NAICOM. Karevault acts as an intermediary or agent, facilitating the connection between users and insurance providers. The specific terms and conditions of each insurance policy will be provided by the respective insurance underwriter.
By using our Services, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information when using our Services, especially during policy applications and claims. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms. Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Services by, any third party.
Not engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Services. Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to our servers through hacking, password mining, or any other means.
Not use any automated means, including robots, spiders, or data mining tools, to download, monitor, or use data from our Services without our express written consent.

Insurance Coverage: The availability and terms of insurance products are subject to the policies and underwriting guidelines of the respective insurance companies. Karevault does not guarantee that you will be approved for any insurance product or that any specific coverage will be available to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karevault, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; Any content obtained from the Services; Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using our Services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim.
All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed on our Services are the property of Karevault or its licensors and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from our Services without our express written consent.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be referred to mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Karevault regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
